Based on the idea that a vacation doesn't mean you have to travel far, The Local Traveler creates their getaway by taking advantage of the different recreational activities in their town and city. The magazine has three sections representing an activity the local traveler can experience - beach hangouts, road trips to national parks, and thrilling amusement parks.
